MedBloc was formed following the submission of my thesis and the subsequent research conducted during my Logistics and Supply Chain management Masters Degree, after spending 16 years in supply chain management across various industries. We understand the challenges Procurement teams face in managing the supply chain and this has never been truer in recent years with Brexit, COVID and the energy crisis to name a few. Traditional systems have been a staple for supply chain professionals, but with the world evolving and supply chains becoming more complex, now is the time to challenge the way we manage supply chains. Technology advances will be utilised over the next ten years which will provide better ways to manage the supply chain and MedBloc want to be the partner of choice for supply chain professionals utilising our Blockchain technology.

MedBloc was formed by our CEO Dan Chiocchi following the conclusion of his MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, after working for more than 15 years in supply chain across various industries. He saw the emergence of technologies such as Web3, AI and IOT tying into industry 4.0 as an opportunity to redefine supply chain management and what it means to all stakeholders. At MedBloc we see this as an opportunity to spearhead the new industrial revolution, we want to work to create a greener, brighter future for our children and the planet. His philosophy has always been to use the fire inside, to fight for what is important and not to accept things as they are. Use what you have with grit and determination to make a difference with good intentions so that you can hold your head high knowing you did your best.
